Bullet speedbar is born from passion for cross country and paragliding competitions. Is the result of a need. We did our best to create what all pilots should have:
a comfortable, fast and accurate speed bar.
Finally you can just think about the air, without distractions, like having to move your feet sideways to go straight!
We are sure! You will never turn back to a classic system!
Bullet speed bar is what was missing!
What is an asymmetric speedbar? A speed bar whose two steps are independent and offset, one per foot, instead of a single bar shared by both legs. Each leg pushes on its own riser, in its natural line, so the pilot no longer has to move the feet sideways to fly straight.
Where does it come from? The asymmetric layout was conceived, built and first flown in 2015 by Marco Busetta, an Italian cross country and competition pilot, and has been produced ever since as the Bullet Speedbar. It was the first asymmetric speedbar on the market. Several harness manufacturers have adopted the idea since then, which we take as a compliment.
Why rigid steps matter. Most later interpretations are made entirely of webbing and line. Bullet keeps rigid, shaped steps because they are what makes the system work: they hold their position and their shape under load, so the foot finds the step without looking and without having to be put back in place. Remove the rigid parts and what is left is the shape of the idea, not its function.
Asymmetric speedbar: what it is, how it works and where it came from →
We tested Bullet for more than one year, producing many prototypes to achieve an high quality product, difficult to improve.
The comfort of an adjustable 3 steps speed bar designed around your legs, with mechanics compatible with human physiology.
We intentionally stressed materials and assembly of the product in the hardest real conditions: long cross country flights and high level competitions.
Using it's as easy as walking! Just push the steps in line with your legs! The result is a perfect, simmetrical action on the two riser's speed system.
Like on a sequential transmission, you can switch the steps at impressive speed.
So easy to go fast! Use it responsibly ;)
High quality manufacture with digital design and CNC (computer numerical control) cutting/routing operations. The rigid parts are all finished with round edges to take care of your legs and your harness!
You can mount it inside each cocoon harness available on the market. Just screw the two provided clips on footplate sides (tie the elastics ropes).
The best pilots around the world preferred the benefits of the new Bullet speedbar concept.
Believe them or just look inside their harnesses!

What the pilots say
I have many flights with my Bullet speedbar now. And I LOVE it. It is a long time since I changed something in my flying gear that I felt made this much of a difference to my flying. The Bullet makes pushing bar smoothly, symmetrically and for long periods so easy!
Competition Pilot
I liked it immediately. Bullet revolutionizes the concept of speedbar.
High level pilot
The best speedbar I've ever tried. Really easy since first flight.
High level pilot
For too many years we flew with defective speedbars. Bullet speedbar is what we were waiting for.
